Vincent: It is so nice to see Leiden while you are walking around during this interview.
You look great in your suit. And your English is awesome!
My favorite quote is: “It is never too late to have a happy childhood”.
I think belief in God is a private matter but I like this comment for it’s ingenuity:
“I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.”- Stephen Roberts
My favorite books are the “Prey” series by a John Sandford. They are murder mysteries but written in a great style (in English, you might enjoy them too).
You and I have similar taste in music. My favorites are Bowie, Rush, Bonnie Raitt, Daughtry, REM, Shaka Ponk, bands with lots of guitar.
I agree music is a daily need: to provide energy (Rock) or to soothe (classical) or to inspire (ballads).
Life’s lesson that helps me is that: This world has so many stresses and it is easy to let it bring you down. But every day is a chance to start over.
One comment: your interviewer’s microphone is not at the same loudness level as yours. For future one-on-one’s maybe equalize those levels.
PS: I am Vincent’s aunt 🙂
